Based on a true story, rescue cat BoBo shares what she has learned from the ups and downs of her life — lessons centered on hope, compassion, resilience, and love.
Life Lesson by Bobolina Delphina is a children's picture book meant for all ages and includes the science behind heart-brain coherence, the heart-brain coherence technique, and emotional learning resources. BoBo's mission is to help create a more loving world for both people and animals through the teachings of heart-centered living and emotional learning.
BoBo's story is told through whimsical and colorful watercolor/collage/mixed media illustration. The creation of Life Lessons became a healing creative endeavor of a family recovering from mental health challenges and several chronic illnesses. Las Vegas Academy of the Arts high school graduates, Lucas Wedmore and Venus Rodriguez, were integral to the co-creative illustration process. Additionally, doodles by Harlow and Torrey Wedmore seen throughout the book are by kids for kids. You can see a bit of the punk rock ethos in Life Lessons, and our love of music.
